Does Seltzer’s need to be refrigerated?
Seltzer’s Lebanon Bologna is a Keep Refrigerated item. With that said – Seltzer’s has had feedback from years of customer interaction in which customers purchase Seltzer’s in a sealed package and then send that sealed package to friends or relatives in other areas of the country and even to people serving overseas. These customers have reported that because Seltzer’s is smoked and cured the way it is, it travels fine through this type of delivery. According to our customers, the recipient simply needs to refrigerate the product sometime before consumption. The official position of Seltzer’s is that our Lebanon Bologna is a Keep Refrigerated item and should be treated as such.
